Concerning Pics With Bad Links
Dear Readers,
I have used a number of different stock photo websites during the life of this website, and over time a couple of them have bitten the dust.
But that means that links in the attributions of such pics would either lead to a polite message about how they have ceased operations, or perhaps later to a new version of that site I no longer have access to (rather than a specific pic or a specific author's page).
Luckily, none of this affects my right to use photos I've purchased from any of these sites, so there's no need for me to lose any sleep over it.
It's just that I'd rather not have readers innocently clicking on any such bad links and end up wondering what's going on, or thinking something on my site is broken. So, I have gone through my entire website and removed such inoperative links from the pics themselves and the names of the authors, and replaced the links to those particular stock photo websites with a link to this page that explains the situation.
